How it works ...

Attach your curtain rod bracket to the DecorHanger Bracket.

Screw the Decorhanger Bracket to the wall. The screws go thru the drywall into the wooden wall stud.

Your curtain rod bracket is now located beyond the edge of the window trim without using drywall anchors. The Decorhanger Bracket attaches it to the stud!

DecorHangerBracket

The DecorHanger Bracket sits on your drywall and is screwed thru the drywall into the wall studs behind the drywall.

Creates a strong mounting point for your curtain rod bracket, off to the side of the window, with NO DRYWALL ANCHORS.

Made of clear, transparent, strong polycarbonate.

Works with your L-shaped curtain rod brackets that have:

  • 3/16 inch holes or slots (for #8 wood screws)

  • Hole spacing up to 1 1/4 inches

The DecorHanger bracket is thick and strong - 5 inches long by 2 inches wide by over 1/2 inch thick. Actual dimensions are 5" x 2" x 5/8".

The Decorhanger Bracket must be positioned above the window trim to align with the underlying wall stud

Installation Step 1

Using the supplied screws and square nuts, attach your curtain rod bracket to the DecorHanger Bracket.

Installation Step 2

Locate the wall stud. We recommend using a stud finder. (available at any hardware store)

Installation Step 3

Using the supplied 2-inch wood screws, attach the DecorHanger bracket to the wall by screwing thru the drywall and into the wooden wall stud.

  • Install the supplied hole caps. (optional).

Thats it!

Your curtain rod bracket is now located beyond the edge of the window trim without using drywall anchors.

The Decorhanger Bracket attaches it to the stud!
